The Magical Mystical Shamanic Way of Life
“That which we resist, persists”! Especially when Spirit is trying to convey a message, they will try to speak to us in many ways. And sometimes we think Spirit isn’t talking to us right now, but trust me, they are always talking. Perhaps it’s the ego in “us” that doesn’t always get the message right away.
There is a spiritually innate aspect to all of us if we choose to nurture it called “the Shaman within”. Living a Shamanic life is not just for a chosen few, and we all truly have the option to embody the Shamanic way of living close to Spirit and all of Nature.
Living the Shamanic way of life is about being deeply connected to God, the God/Goddess within, Spirit, Mother Earth, the elements and all of the natural world. Or as the Shaman will say “all our relations”. Simply put, Shamanic living is living authentically.
The message Spirit has been sending me for some time is to get back to teaching and especially Shamanic teaching. So after many messages from numerous messengers, and not wanting the “energetic speed bump” thrust in front of me, I taught a class called “Shamanism for the New Earth” this past Saturday. And Spirit gifted me and my students with a beautiful gift that made our hearts sing even more and was great validation that what we were doing was the right thing! Transfiguration Healing: Shifting “Dark” into “Light”
I often get messages from Spirit, well, daily, and sometimes they ask me to share. Today was one of those “please share it” messages. To most of you these messages are not new information, but just reminders.
Most of you reading this are already “Open to Spirit” and what I mean by that is that you are aware of Gods helpers in the Spirit world manifest on our planet at this time to help us move through the Shift with ease by helping us to raise our vibration & consciousness.
And also most of you know that “WE” are Spirit and know that all of the Gifts of Spirit are our birthright. These Gifts of Spirit, i.e. psychic abilities, ability to heal self and others, are obtainable by raising our vibration and our consciousness.
That does not however, mean our loved ones, children, spouses, neighbors, and other family members are Open to Spirit or raising their consciousness. And of course we all want our loved ones to grow with us and to help them end their self inflicted suffering.
How many times have we exhausted ourselves trying to make this clear to others so that their lives can become simpler, more harmonious, and Creative! And since we are all One and we are all connected, this in turn affects us as a collective. We talk to someone until we are blue in the face with little or no response from them except for the “rolling of their eyes in the back of their heads”! And if my son is reading this now, I guarantee you, he is grinning from ear to ear.

The Spirit of Gaia
Spirit never cease’s to amaze me with validation after validation that we are not alone, and that there is an army of God’s Angelic helpers just waiting for us to ask for their assistance. And those validations seem to have timely visitations when we need them the most. And these validations are available to all of us when we have eyes to see and ears to hear.
This last validation, or Spirit visitation is still blowing my human mind. But that would only be my “ego mind” that thinks it separate from God and all of the other worlds and realities. To say that I am “skeptic by nature” would be a misnomer. I am skeptic from socialization, the monkey mind, and those of “perceived power” who want me/us to believe their version of how we should have a relationship with God and all that is. That of course, is all about control, fear and greed.
I have come a long way from my first “adult” spirit visitation 12 years ago. And I emphasized “adult” because when we let our filters down, we can all remember the magical worlds we lived in as children. Back before we were cautioned about speaking our Truth for fear of being persecuted. And the Truth of that, was that it wasn’t our fear, but the fears of our parents. We as awakened Beings, need to make sure we can stop that un-Truth with this generation.
Now it seems that there is a bigger reason why I have received so many of these extraordinary visits. It is to awaken me to who I am as Spirit. That I am so much more than this body and this dense “lower self”. That I am a Light Being as are all of you. And I welcome these visitations with gratitude, and an open mind and heart. Which brings me to a week ago when I first met Gaia, the Earth Goddess.

Open to Spirit
Since the purchasing of the land and the building for Pathways in 2006, much has gone on here in the background as well as the other side of the veil. Many teachings and mystical synchronistic events have happened to prepare the space of Pathways for being a healing center of higher frequencies and learning. Spiritual knowledge is growth and healing.
Is it synchronistic that this is all coming to fruition as we move closer to 2012 and the speculated and prophesized events that may happen? One of my teachers speaks about how we as human beings are moving from being Homo sapiens to being more Homo luminous.
Homo luminous: Taken from “The Four Insights” by Alberto VilloldoAccording to the prophecies of the Maya, the Hopi and the Inka, we’re at a turning point in human history, a period of great turmoil and upheaval in which a new species of human will give birth to itself. We’re going to take a quantum leap into what we are becoming, moving from Homo sapiens to Homo luminous – that is, beings with the ability to perceive the vibration and light that make up the physical world at a much higher level. For the first time, all of humanity will be able to evolve not between generations, but within a generation, which contradicts our beliefs about how evolution works. We’ll take a biological quantum leap within our own lifetimes; and the physical, emotional and spiritual traits we acquire will be passed on to our children and our children’s children. The “Laika” are the Shaman, or spiritual healers and leaders in the high Andes of South America. They work very closely with Spiritual allies to create these changes in vibration and light.
So let’s now move to the phenomenon of John of God, named the “Miracle Man of God” by many. John of God is a full trance medium who is a channel for Spirit to come through and heal the Body, Mind, and Spirit of hundreds of people a week. About 4 years ago, I traveled to Brazil and spent 2 ½ weeks with John of God and witnessed many amazing healings first hand. Brazil has more than 3600 full trance mediums that heal through channeling Spirit. It is their main means of healing there. You can google much information on John of God and other Spiritist healers.

Soul Loss & Soul Retrieval
Depression, Addictions, Dissociation, Chronic Illness, Chronic fatigue, Chronic misfortune, Feelings of constant victimization, Feeling like part of you is missing, Inability to move beyond unhealthy relationships, Feeling like you really should be doing more with you life, but feel stuck.
The above are common side effects of soul loss. Many people often report in healing sessions that they feel like they are not doing what they came here to do or they just have no “joy“ in their lives. These are two more signs of soul loss. What is soul loss and how can it be retrieved?
First, let me define “soul”. The soul is that part of us that is our pure essence, or life force. It is “pure Light”, that which is created by God and is eternal. That which returns to God and most likely will choose to return again to another body. Now, I am putting a little extra energy on that last statement for a reason and I will bring it up again soon.
When physical or emotional trauma occurs, the soul fragments to alleviate the body from feeling too much pain. Unfortunately, when this happens, not all of the fragmented soul parts return. Over time left unaddressed, this soul loss begins to create more of an issue in the emotional and physical bodies through energy disturbances.

Spirit of the Wind
Over the past few days it seemed that the wind has been fast and furious more so than we‘ve had in a long time. I’m not sure if I’ve experienced that strong of wind for that length of time since I’ve lived here. Yesterday morning was very intense and as I was walking through my shuddering house, I said a loud, “God!!! This wind is annoying”. Then it came, that voice that comes from no where and every where. “Did you not know the wind has a Spirit too? You are speaking of as if it were an inanimate object.” That is the voice that stops me in my tracks. I pondered that for a moment, but just for a moment as I was preparing myself to go to work.
In Shaman School one of the first things we teach is that all things have a Spirit. The mountains have a Spirit as well as Mother Earth and all of her children including the plant and animal kingdom. The rivers and waters have a Spirit, and we even honor and bless water these days as experiment to create more pure the water for us to drink.
