September begins with transiting Jupiter trine Sun and Venus, a lucky time. This Labor Day weekend is a great time for travel, socializing and barbecue’s.

There are no major aspects this month, however Pluto stations direct on the 16th just about two degrees away from an exact square with Uranus. The Uranus-Pluto square will be a major Astrological influence from now into the year 2015 with seven exact aspects. This will bring much change in our society, politics and economy.

May is basically a quiet month astrologically. There is a Mars Jupiter conjunction on the 1st of May. This is a great aspect for success and good luck in any physical activity like sports. May 8th Jupiter will enter the 5th house and conjunct Mars in the sign Aries, this is an excellent transit for almost any kind of activity. Your energy is high and you feel very strong and vigorous. One thing to remember with all this energy is not to let your feelings of exuberance leed you to take unnecessary risks.

At the beginning of April, Mercury the Planet of information, communication, and transportation is retrograde in the sign Aries; also the (New Moon) Sun and Jupiter will all be in conjunction in that same sign. All these Planets will oppose the Planet Saturn. The energy of this opposition will have a restricting, even depressing influence. We start the month with Saturn Rx as of 1/26/2011 in the sign of Libra. This is a very short time, so it is a good thing that Aries people act quickly. This provides new opportunities to extend social life, work, home, education, and creativity will present themselves around this time. The New Year brings an interesting blend of transits that could be helpful in enabling us to dig out of the various holes that many of us have fallen into. Both Jupiter and Uranus will return to Aries, Jupiter this month and Uranus in March. While these planets lack the intensity and control, like Pluto and Saturn, they may help in ways that don’t require heaviness or power struggles.

Many of us would agree that the human race is headed in the wrong direction. Some would even say that we are tilted to one side. We could even get caught up in the illusion, that disaster may seem inevitable. One way to get us back into balance is to get things moving in the right direction that supports the greatest good for the greatest number, is changing consciousness. That’s exactly what Uranus and Neptune help us to do. The fact that one is entering the sign of new beginnings (Uranus in Aries) and the other, the sign of its dignity (Neptune in Pisces), suggests that a new awareness is not only possible, but indeed, probable.

On Dec. 3rd Saturn conjunct United States Natal Saturn. This is what we call a Saturn Return. Since the United States was born with Saturn in the sign Libra, the issues will be about balance, harmony, distinguishing equality from equity, compensation, karma, Justice vs. mercy, relationship dynamics, assertion, and cosmetics in every area of life.

With Venus still retrograde in the sign Scorpio we are being asked to look deeper into our values. Are we still fixating on our past relationships, or have we learned to transcend the negativity and rejection from our past. By penetrating the darkness and depth of Scorpio long enough we will soon see the light.

On November 8th Venus will retrograde back in the sign Libra. This would suggest a balancing in relationships: fairness, gentleness, care, and appreciation.

Our Summer begins with Sun in Cancer, the first of the water signs. Cancer says, “I feel”. Water provides lubrication, the ability to flow from experience to experience and from one condition to another. Cancer signifies the eternal parent, focusing on the security needs of the child. Cancer is the sign of protection and nurturing.

On the 5th of July Uranus stations retrograde in the sign Aries. Uranus in Aries, you could feel so unique and so much of an individual, that you may have a hard time intergrading that energy within any sort of social setting. You could fear the loss of your freedom, thus being uncomfortable with others. You could also be seen as so rebellious and challenging, that others feel uncomfortable with you. With Uranus in retrograde, your Lifestyle, Consciousness, and interest surpass most of your peers. Socialization for you can be frustrating. You may find yourself a reformist, years ahead of everyone else. When your peers finally do catch up, you will still be more progressive in thinking and understanding. If you have Uranus retrograde in your natal chart you are being asked to validate ones’ own sense of independence and uniqueness and in learning how to incorporate that into social situations.
